CAIRO, Oct 3, 2018 (MENA) - Head of the National Council for Women (NCW) Maya Morsi conferred on Wednesday with visiting Deputy Chairperson of Argentina's National Women's Council Adriana Vincti on means of boosting cooperation in the field of women empowerment and exchanging know how in the field. During the meeting, Morsi asserted that the visit of the Argentinian official provides a good opportunity for exchanging expertise in the field of women empowerment in particular as well as reviewing the national strategies adopted for enabling women as part of a plan for achieving the 2030 development goals. Morsi also reviewed the national strategy for combating violence against women and an economic study on protecting battered women. She also said NCW has finalized a draft bill on violence against girls and women in all its forms in accordance with the Egyptian constitution. Vincti on her part hailed the Egyptian civilization and the development she has witnessed in Egypt at the current phase in different fields. She also voiced her admiration of the Egyptian antiquities especially Abu Simbel Temple and the history of the old Egyptian art.
