Staff report: CAIRO, September 20, 2018 – Egypt's equities slipped on Thursday for the fifth day in a row. The benchmark index EGX30 slipped 0.11 per cent to14,083.48 points. The broader indices EGX70 and EGX100 dipped 1.68 and 1.58 per cent to 682.88 and 1,740.19 points respectively. Volume totaled LE1.75billion (around $98.3million), market data showed. The market capitalisation lost LE5.5 billion to LE780.11billion. Locals and non-Arab investors were net sellers of LE352.2 million and LE279.74 million respectively. Arab investors were net buyers of LE72.48 million, market data showed. The EGX50 and EGX20 Capped indicesshed1.68 and 0.56 per cent to 2,172.56 and 13,413.3 points respectively. Of a total 174 traded stocks 28 shares rose, 123fell, 23 remained unchanged, market data showed.
