BEIJING, Sept 4 (MENA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi left Beijing on Tuesday for Uzbekistan, wrapping up a four-day visit to China. While in China, Sisi had important talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang. Sisi attended the summit of the Forum on China–Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). The Egyptian and Chinese leaders witnessed the inking of five cooperation agreements. Sisi's visit to Uzbekistan is the first by an Egyptian president since 1950s. Sisi will hold talks with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev and a number of ministers and top officials on means of furthering bilateral cooperation. The Egyptian and Uzbek presidents will witness the signing of several cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding in various domains.
