CAIRO, August 14, 2018 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired a meeting Tuesday to review a strategy to establish logistics zones throughout Egypt. It is important to expand logistics areas in governorates, Madbouli said, noting this will help maximise internal trade and support the national economy. More logistics zones means more jobs for youth and more outlets to sell commodities at reduced prices, the premier further said. This will also stop monopolisation and help the informal economy go formal, he added. Madbouli said the strategy has in its heart a vision to upgrade roads and transport networks to better serve governorates.
