CAIRO, July 16, 2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi commended the efforts exerted by India's Bohra spiritual leader, Mufaddal Saifuddin, to renovate old mosques in addition to carrying out charity works. During a meeting on Monday with Saifuddin and his two sons, the president underlined the historical ties between Egypt and Bohra sect, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said. Saifuddin hailed the progress which Egypt realised at the security and stability levels. He also extolled religious freedom in Egypt, underscoring the sect's interest in investing in Egypt. Rady noted that Saifuddin extended LE10 million to Tahya Misr Fund.
