Egypt's gov't probes creating database to contact expats

CAIRO, July 13, 2018 (MENA) – Egyptian Immigration Minister Nabila Makram and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat on Friday probed in a meeting the possibility of establishing a unified database to contact expatriates abroad.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed means of taking advantage of the expertise of Egyptian scientists abroad in supporting Egypt's 2030 Vision for sustainable development, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology said in a statement.
In a related context, Makram reviewed steps to create another database for Egyptian scientists and experts abroad, as part of ongoing preparations for launching an association entitled "Egypt Can", the statement added.
