CAIRO, July 3, 2018 (MENA) - The security troops killed three takfiris and arrested 59 others as part of the Sinai 2018 comprehensive operation in North and Central Sinai over the past few days, the army said in its 25th televised statement this morning. The troops, comprising army and police forces, raided and destroyed 285 hideouts of takfiris, the army statement said. The security forces seized arms, ammunitions, military uniforms, telecommunication gadgets, 200 kg of TNT and some takfiri books, it said. The brooder guards seized arms, cars, motorbikes, foreign currency cash, seven Thuraya phones and150 sacks of gold ore. In its fierce combat against terrorists, the army, in cooperation with the police, held a total of 538 movable checkpoints nationwide.
