GENEVA, June 8, 2018 (MENA) - A delegation of the Egyptian government that participated in the 107th Session of the International Labor Conference (ILC) in Geneva took part in the World of Work Summit on the role of job opportunities and decent work in providing peace and stability in countries emerging from crises, conflicts and disasters. The conference started its activities on May 28 and will end on Friday. Egypt's delegation to the conference was headed by Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saffan, who left Geneva for Cairo. In a speech, Director-General of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Guy Ryder stressed the importance of achieving decent work, especially in crisis and disaster-prone countries, such as Syria and Guatemala, underlining the ILO's initiative to launch the decent work program, which focuses in particular on the marginalized countries.
