CAIRO, June 5, 2018 (MENA) - Egypt's Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram on Tuesday said the expats represent popular diplomacy and defenders of the national security. The bill regulating the Egyptian communities abroad aims at keeping contacts with the expats and maximizing the benefit of them, the minister told lawmakers taking part in a meeting of the foreign affairs parliamentary committee. It also organizes the elections of community management councils. The lawmakers urged the minister to discuss the bill with Egyptian expats.
