CAIRO, March 17, 2018 - Immigration and Expatriates' Affairs Minister Nabila Makram said on Saturday that the Cairo government was keen on protecting the rights of Egyptian citizens abroad. She added that she closely followed investigations into the killing of an Egyptian student by a group of women in Nottingham a few days ago. Makram said she was in constant contact with Egyptian Ambassador in London Nasser Kamel to be updated on the progress of investigations around Abdel Sallam's murder. She said her Ministry was considering filing a lawsuit against the hospital into which Abdel Sallam was admitted. "This crime cannot go unpunished," the Minister said.
