CAIRO, June 4, 2018 (MENA) - Egypt's premier stressed on Monday that granting public servants annual and additional raise and increasing the pensions by 15 percent will cost the State 60 billion pounds. The additional raise and the pension increase come upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi who attaches a special significance to improving citizens' living conditions, Sherif Ismail said in press statements. The new raises will be in effect once the new budget is applicable on July 1. Nine million citizens will benefit from the pension increase and six million public servants will benefit from the annual and additional bonus.
