CAIRO, May 30, 2018 (News Wires) - Former Asante Kotoko forward Benjamin Acheampong has expressed his desire to return Zamalek at the end of his loan stint at Petrojet. The diminutive marksman joined Africa giants Zamalek in a big money move from El Dakhleya Sporting Club. However, the 27-year-old struggled to churn out regular playing time before he was shipped out on loan to Petrojet in the second half of the 2017/2018 season. According to reports, the forward is being chased by four Egyptian top-flight sides following his incredible performances with Petrojet. He is reported to be on the wish list of Al Gouna, ENPI, Al Ittihad of Alexanderia and Petrojet, but the final decision lies at the doorstep of Zamalek's Coach Khaled Galal, who is believed to be keen on giving the player another opportunity. In an interview, Acheampong indicated his determination to return to Zamalek but believes the final decision will depend on the team. "The decision is now in the hands of the White House. For me, of course, I would like to go back because I did not get the best chances for the team, and I only played for a few minutes. I hope to go back to the starting period from the start with the team.
