CAIRO, May 14 ,2018(MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Monday Laurent Nunez, the head of the French internal intelligence service, in the presence of Major-General Abbas Kamel, the Acting Director of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service. Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Rady said that President Sisi welcomed the French official and asked him to convey his greetings to President Emmanuel Macron, highlighting the depth of Egyptian-French relations and co-operation between the two countries especially in the security and intelligence domains. President Sisi praised coordination and consultations between the two countries on regional and international issues of mutual concern, as well as efforts to fight terrorism. For his part, Nunez expressed his country's keenness on continued coordination with the Egyptian side on the challenges the region is facing and Egypt's efforts to find solutions to crises in the region.
