CAIRO, May 13, 2018 (MENA) - The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced on Monday that the remittances of Egyptians abroad increased during the month of February to $2 billion, compared with $1.8 billion in February 2017. In a statement, the CBE said that the period from July 2017 to February 2018 witnessed an increase in the total remittances of Egyptians working abroad by $3.4 billion, at a rate of 24.1 per cent, reaching a new record of $17.3 billion compared to $13.9 billion during the corresponding period.
