CAIRO, May 13, 2018 (MENA) - The Sudanese Deputy Prime Minister and Information Minister, Ahmad Bilal Osman, has hailed as "sacred" relations with Egypt. "The ties are at their best," Osman told Al Akhbar in remarks published on Sunday. He said that contact channels are open between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Sudanese counterpart Omar Bashir in addition to diplomatic contacts. Osman stressed that Sudan is "the southern strategic depth of Egypt". He also urged more cooperation to combat terrorism. The deputy premier reiterated that Khartoum is keen on Egypt's stability.
