AL chief heads for Tunis to attend ALECSO meetings

CAIRO, May 8, 2018 (MENA) - Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit on Tuesday left for Tunis to take part in the meetings of the congress of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO).
The Executive Council of the Organisation started meetings of its 109th ordinary session on Sunday.
The meetings deal with several technical, administrative and financial issues including the budget for the years 2019 and 2020 and the activities of 2017.
The participants will also tackle the educational and cultural situation in the Palestinian territories.
