AL chief to attend int'l conf. on education in crisis zones

CAIRO, April 3,2018 (MENA) - Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit will take part in an international conference organised by Portugal on means of developing education in crisis zones.
Abul Gheit will deliver a speech during the opening session on the challenges besetting the educational process in conflict zones in the Arab region.
He will also review the AL educational mechanisms.
During the visit to Portugal, which begins today, he will hold talks with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa alongside senior Portuguese officials on means of fostering Arab-Portuguese relations at the political, economic and cultural levels, the AL chief's spokesman, Mahmoud Afifi, said on Tuesday.
