Gazette Staff CAIRO, April 24, 2018 -- Egypt signed a contract for its participation in the Dubai Expo 2020 exhibition from October 20, 2020 till April 2021, a statement by the Ministry of Trade and Industry said. The agreement was signed by the CEO of the Export Development Authority (EDA), Sherine el-Shorbagi, and Najeeb Mohammed Al Ali, the Executive Director of the Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau. El-Shorbagi said that EDA will start preparing the Egyptian booth on an area of 1,000 metres. The contract included the details of the booth and its implementation, in addition to the technical support of the organising committee. The official said that Expo 2020 would promote the investment opportunities in Egypt to the international companies taking part in the exhibition. She said that there would be meetings between the Egyptian and the international companies to discuss more business opportunities.
