BERLIN, April 18, 2018 (MENA) - Head of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee Tareq Radwan discussed with German Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office means to boost cooperation between both countries. This came during Radwan's visit to the German parliament (Bundestag) accompanied by Egypt's Ambassador to Germany Badr Abdel Aati. The meeting took up some regional issues along with preparing for a visit of Egyptian House of Representatives Speaker Ali Abdel Aal after Eidul Fitr. Annen extended congratulations on the re-election of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for a second term in office in the 2018 presidential election. He also asserted the strength of bilateral ties and the German support to Egypt in its war against terror and combating illegal migration. The meeting tackled increasing German investments in Egypt along with fostering parliamentary coordination and Egypt's pivotal role in the Palestinian cause and the Libyan crisis.
