BERLIN, March 6 (MENA) - Egyptian Minister of Tourism Rania el Mashat, who is on a current visit to Germany, will hold important meetings on the sidelines of the Internationale Tourismus-Borse (ITB) in Berlin, Egyptian Ambassador to Germany Badr Abdel Aati said. In statements to MENA, Abdel Aati said that Mashat will confer with Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Iris Gleicke on means to boost tourism cooperation. She will meet with former German transport minister and member of the German Bundestag and chairman of the Committee on Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Ramsauer along with representatives of a number of German tourism companies, he said. Mashat will also meet with her Greek and Cypriot counterparts to discuss aspects of cooperation, he said. Germany ranks first among world countries in the number of tourists visiting Egypt and in 2017 more than 1.2 million German tourists came to Egypt, he added, expecting their number to further increase this year.
