ISMAILIA, 12 April, 2018 (MENA) - Governor of Ismailia Yassin Taher inaugurated on Wednesday evening the 20th edition of the Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts at Ismailia Culture Palace. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of Culture Enas Abdel Dayem, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish, Local Development Minister Abu Bakr el-Gindy and a galaxy of actors and other filmmakers. About 48 countries are taking part in this year's seven-day festival with 62 films. The 20th edition of Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts is expected to witness the inking of two memoranda of understanding with the Royal Film Commission of Jordan and the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre.
