Cairo, March 25 - The Bahraini Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on Sunday expressed his condolences to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi over the victims of the bombing which took place in Alexandria on Saturday. Prince Salman expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, asking God Almighty to have mercy on the dead and grant the wounded speedy recovery. The Bahraini foreign ministry on Saturday condemned the terrorist incident in Alexandria, stressing that the Kingdom is standing by Egypt and supporting its bid to restore security and stability. Meanwhile, the Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit on Sunday condemned the blast which killed and injured a number of persons. Arab League Chief's Spokesman Mahmoud Afifi said Abul Gheit expressed his full solidarity with Egypt in its war against terrorism which aims at destabilising the country. He asserted his full confidence in Egypt's ability to overcome such danger in view of the unity and cohesion of the Egyptian people as well as the sacrifices of the Egyptian security forces.
