CAIRO, March 18 (MENA) - Egypt's Ambassador to Somalia Waled Ismail said on Sunday that the Egyptian embassy has handed a shipment of around two tons of medical supplies to the Somalian authorities. The aid, granted by the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development, was received by the Somali Health Ministry's Undersecretary Abdullah Hashi. The official thanked Egypt's government for its efforts to support Somalia. He also expressed appreciation of Cairo's moves to promote the ties with Somalia. The shipment comes within the framework of the two countries' distinguished relations, said the ambassador.
