Egypt's ambassador in Mogadishu, Walid Mohamed Ismail attended today, Monday, the ceremony of delivering aids sent by Egyptian ministry of defence to the Somali army, in the framework of boosting the relations between the two countries. Aids contained two containers of different goods. Egypt's foreign ministry released a statement on Monday mentions that ceremonies took place at Mogadishu harbour, attended by Somali defence minister, large number of Somali army's commanders and members of Egyptian embassy in Somalia. Ismail affirmed during celebration that Egypt is willing to support Somalia in all fields, and boosting bilateral relations between the two countries. Somali defence minister, Abdel Hakim Mahmoud asserted during the celebration on the depth of Egyptian-Somali relations, expressing his thanks to President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and Egyptian defence ministry for the aids for Somali army.
