CAIRO - MARCH 9, 2018 - Egypt is to take part in China's first International Import-Expo exhibition in Shanghai 5-10 November 2018. Some 100 countries will be represented at the event. China is seeking US$10 trillions in imports during the next five years, which is why the exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for Egyptian exporters, said a statement from the Ministry of Trade and Industry. China is a market of 1.3 billion consumers, the Chinese trade ministry said. Egyptian companies in the fields of agriculture, food, textiles, household appliances, industrial machinery and automobiles will be participating in the exhibition. Egyptian agricultural exports to China hit US$90 million last year.
