The two leaders held extended talks that included between the delegations of the two countries to discuss bilateral relations and regional affairs.
This is Al-Sisi's second visit to Oman since he assumed his post as president, and the first time he is meeting bin Tarik, who ascended to the throne in 2020.
The Egyptian president visit to Oman comes amid a series of meetings he has had with regional heads of state.
On Saturday, Al-Sisi met with Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in Cairo, just two days after meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Furthermore, the Gulf Cooperation Council is scheduled to hold a summit in three weeks in which the leaders of the US, Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan have been invited.
During the meeting, the Omani sultan praised the Egyptian expat community's contribution to the process of constructing and developing the gulf country in various fields, emphasising Oman's keenness to strengthen the established bilateral cooperation frameworks with Egypt over the coming period.
He added that he will be increasing Omani investments in Egypt and exploiting the many investment opportunities available in the country.
For his part, Al-Sisi stressed Egypt's pride in the depth and strength of its strategic relations with Oman, as well as its keenness to strengthen and diversify the frameworks of bilateral cooperation and explore mechanisms to push them to broader horizons in various political, security, economic, and commercial fields.
Al-Sisi also appreciated the level of existing coordination and unity of visions between the two brotherly countries on issues of mutual interest, in addition to the Omani-Egyptian consensus on all regional and international issues.
Oman is a neutral state that adopts an isolationist policy regarding international and regional crises.
