Egypt receives 4 first of regional kind health units
Health Minister meets Ecopat Board of Directors head to discuss cooperation in Egypt's health sector

Egypt's Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed confirmed that Egypt will soon receive four pre-equipped health units for village residents, the first of their kind in the Middle East.
Zayed's confirmation came as she received Charles Khoury, the Lebanese investor and Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Ecopat for Industrial Development. The meeting took place, on Wednesday, to discuss cooperation in Egypt's health sector.
Also present at the meeting were: Dr Ahmed El-Sobky, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Supervision and Follow-up Affairs and Head of the Health Care Authority; Mustafa Ghanima, Assistant Minister for Clinical Medicine Affairs; and Mona Wahba, Director of Development Works in the company.
Khaled Mogahed, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the meeting discussed cooperation with the company to supply pre-equipped health facilities for Egypt's two comprehensive health insurance projects.
This would also see the development of Egyptian villages, which are sophisticated smart buildings "steel structure" Manufactured and installed to ensure speed and ease of implementation.
Mogahed indicated that the minister praised the construction pattern of pre-equipped medical facilities and their safety and conformity with the Egyptian construction codes.
It also contributes to overcoming the time factor for the completion of projects in a record time. It also confirms President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi's keenness to implement this type of facility in projects to develop Egypt's health infrastructure.
Mogahed said that the minister thanked Khoury for his initiative in supplying Egypt with pre-equipped health facilities to support the health sector, and his keenness to make Egypt a destination for investment.
Zayed's remarks come in recognition of Khoury's efforts in settling this type of industry in Egypt within the context of the depth of relations between Egypt and Lebanon.
The minister also assured him of the Egyptian political leadership's keenness on supporting the Lebanese people.
