After conducting a medical survey, the clinic will provide medical service for all patients that have been diagnosed with hepatitis C virus and provide treatment doses for the neediest individuals free of charge.
The Tahya Misr Fund was created upon the initiative of president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in 2014 to help fund projects, in order to bolster the Egyptian economy.
Tamer Abdel Fattah, the financial and administrative director of the Tahya Egypt Fund, stated that the fund will continue its efforts to eradicate hepatitis C virus by 2020 and provide free treatment to anyone in need.

Moreover, he explained that a protocol had been signed with Minya University to carry out a medical survey of all 120,000 students and provide medical treatments to any patient free of charge.
The fund, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, has participated in a national project to eliminate the virus under the conditions that the fund will provide the tools for analysing the virus and provide treatment for infection cases.
Moreover, the Fund has made a significant contribution in providing 1,500,000 surveys to medical patients. Additionally, the fund has provided treatment for 257,000 patients, free of charge, with the hopes of reaching the national aim of eradicating hepatitis C virus.
Additionally, the fund established the Luxor Medical Centre, to act as a specialized centre to treat underprivileged patients in Luxor and neighbouring governorates.
The Tahya Misr fund 2018/2019 plan aims to support the Ministry of Health and Population's treatment centres by providing treatment to 60,000 patients and providing reagents for 120,000 citizens.
