Smartphone market shares in April
Samsung still in lead despite its market share dip

Samsung's share of smartphone sales in Egypt declined in April by 3%, but still leads across the market.
According to a report by StatCounter, Samsung's share of mobile sales in Egypt scored 42.8% in March, then fell in April to 39.7%.
Samsung continues to be one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in Egypt in terms of market share in April.
Huawei maintained second place in April with a slight increase in its market share to 13.9% from 13.1% in March.
Ranked third in terms of market share of smartphone sales in Egypt in April was Apple, which maintained its share for the second straight month with a share of 10.7%.
iPhone sales declined from 13.7% in February to 10.7% in March, losing 2% market share in one month.
Lenovo came fourth on the list in terms of market share of smartphone sales.
Lenovo's share declined slightly from 7.2% in March to 6.9% in April.
Infinix came in fifth, and marked a strong growth in sales in April, rising from 4.5% in March to 6.9%, making it the fastest growing manufacturer in Egypt last month.
HTC followed in sixth place, with a slight decline from 3.5% in March to 3.1% in April.
Moreover, Tecno Mobile came in seventh in terms of market share, with an almost negligible increase in market share. According to the report, Techno Mobile's market share in Egypt increased from 2.3% in March to 2.5% in April.
Nokia continued to rank eighth and last on the list, despite the slight growth achieved in its market share, which grew from 1.5% to 1.6% in April.
