Al Thiqa organises 11 real estate exhibitions during 2018 with expected sales of EGP 2bn

Al Thiqa Real Estate is organising 11 real estate exhibitions during the current year and expects 30,000 visitors to its exhibitions, which are distributed across a number of governorates on an area of 25,000 sqm.
The company targets the participation of a large number of real estate companies in order to stimulate sales.
Al Thiqa Chairperson Mohamed El Dahshory said that the company aims for companies' contractual sales through participation in the exhibitions to reach up to EGP 2bn.
In a press conference held Monday, El Dahshory said that the company began its activities last year and organised an exhibition at the Intercontinental Citystars hotel. At the exhibition, the companies achieved contractual sales of over EGP 300m, as well as two exhibitions in Upper Egypt in Assiut and Beni Sueif governorates, as well as launching the quality standards conference for the real estate sector, in addition to publishing the print and online real estate manual.
He stressed the importance of exporting Egyptian real estate and taking advantage of the currency devaluation, of which real estate exhibitions can benefit from strongly, providing more than one project with different products to Egyptian expatriates and people from the Arabian Gulf.
"The company's plan includes organising exhibitions outside Egypt, especially in Arab countries which do not have similar activities such as the Sultanate of Oman, as well as targeting Egyptian communities in foreign countries after communicating with a number of them and their expression of having a strong desire to buy properties in the Egyptian market," El Dahshory noted. "Real estate exhibitions have contributed to increasing sales for companies during the past year, especially as they are accompanied by special offers and discounts that help in attracting customers."
He added that the company selected the venues and dates of holding the exhibitions according to a market survey and a survey of companies. The study included identifying locations characterised by customer density, thus enhancing the chances of success for the exhibitions, as well as opening new markets in different governorates, which would contribute to reaching new customers and raising the sales of real estate companies.
He pointed out that the exhibitions will be managed electronically through Nozol, a specialised platform in the field of real estate, which will provide tablet devices for exhibitors to record the wishes of customers and provide information on their needs and demand trends.
