Real estate exhibitions are limited to the governorates of Cairo and Alexandria, says TREEX chairperson

Thika Company, the organiser of TREEX 2017, organised 3 real estate exhibitions in Upper Egypt and will inaugurate the first in Beni Suef in November, followed by two others in the governorates of Minya and Assiut within the company's expansion plan.
Inaugurating such exhibitions in Upper Egypt aims to increase the number of real estate companies' clients and to enter new markets with strong purchasing power, both in projects in new cities close to Cairo and in coastal areas as well as projects in the new cities in Upper Egypt, said the chairperson of Thika company, Mohamed El Dahshory.
El Dahshory added that the launch of TREEX real estate exhibitions in Upper Egypt is the first of its kind, as real estate exhibitions are limited to the governorates of Cairo and Alexandria.
Furthermore, the governorates of Upper Egypt have significant investment opportunities in the real estate sector and need to be rediscovered in light of the expansion of the government in developing new cities in this region.
El Dahshory pointed out that the company has prepared a study of the needs of customers in these governorates in terms of size of demand, quality of projects, and purchasing power and then determine the most suitable place to implement these projects.
The study's results confirmed a strong demand for purchasing and a desire to invest in real estate, especially coastal projects.
He noted that the diversity of exhibition venues is achieving a wider spread of real estate companies, which usually focus on the Greater Cairo region and compete among themselves on a segment of customers and overlook the rest of governorates. This can be used to increase sales, he said.
In August, Thika organised TREEX exhibition with the participation of 35 real estate companies that provided numerous offers and discounts. In addition, the issuance of the company's first printed and online real estate directory and the company's plan includes a package of events during the coming period.
