Aboul-Ella nears Military move

CAIRO: Former Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Aboul-Ella is close to joining Egyptian newly-promoted side Military Production on a free transfer, coach Tarek Yehia said on Saturday.
Aboul-Ella has accepted our offer. He should join the club on a two-year deal, but we just need to sort out some details to wrap up the deal, Yehia told FilGoal.com.
The 29-year-old, who came through Zamalek s youth ranks, left the Cairo giants last month after the club opted not to offer him a new contract.
He spent most of last season on the bench but now he has a chance to revive his career with an ambitious Military side.
Aboul-Ella is a very good player. His versatility will give us plenty of options next season, Yehia added.
Military approached Aboul-Ella after failing to sign veteran wing-back Tarek Al-Sayed from Tersana.
