Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi is heading to the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh to attend the Arab-Latin Summit on Tuesday Presidency spokesperson Alaa Youssef said in a statement that Al-Sisi will meet Saudi King Salman Bin Abdelaziz on the sidelines of the summit. Egypt will adopt Riyadh's decree, which contains a summary of the most important political issues of interest for both countries. The most significant of those is the Palestinian issue and developments in Syria, Yemen, and Libya. It will also include issues of cooperation with Latin American countries in economic, social, cultural, and scientific affairs. Trade exchange volume between Arab and Latin countries rose to $30bn in 2014, from only $6bn since the first summit in Brazil in 2005. All Arab countries, except Syria, are participating in the summit in addition to Latin American countries including Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Guyana, and Surinam. The Mexican Foreign Minister visited Egypt in September after the incident of the eight Mexican tourists killed by mistake while security forces chased jihadists in the Bahariya Oasis.
