We have a new plan for campaigning to avoid the mistakes of the first round, says party candidate

The Al-Nour Party candidates for the second round of elections have started their campaigns in the streets throughout the governorates.
Candidates of the Salafi party also started door-knocking campaigns in accordance with their decision that also includes shuttle tours in governorates, in an attempt to "avoid the mistakes of the first phase". The decision was issued by the party's supreme body.
Campaign members distributed their flyers and the youth of the Salafi party held campaigns for their candidates in the governorate of Damietta, in which five candidates are running for individual seats.
Member of the supreme council of the Al-Nour Party and candidate in the second round of the parliamentary elections, Salah Abdel Maaboud, said they will begin announcing a state of emergency to support their candidates.
He added that the party is getting ready for the electoral race through an expanded electoral campaign plan through public meetings, and door-knocking campaigns, in addition to the meetings in the all the secretariats in the electoral districts.
He said the party entrusted all members of their media committee to prepare for the campaign in the streets, through their social networks, and in newspapers affiliated to the Al-Nour Party. They are working to acquire the largest possible number of seats in the second phase after its loss in the first phase.
The party presented 75 candidates for the individual seats in the second phase and 45 candidates in the Cairo list. He noted that the party will revise all the mistakes in the first phase to avoid.
The party will change its campaign plan by intensifying mobilisation to public meetings in the governorates. A number of candidates for the individual and list seats in the governorates already made mistakes in the second phase, even when the door for electoral campaigning has not opened yet, he said.
The Al-Nour Party candidate in Gharbeya Maher Noseir said he started his door-knocking campaign to encourage the youth and urge them to participate in the parliamentary elections. They started the tours throughout the governorates to gain support for the Salafi party's candidates.
