The 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show began on Wednesday with representatives of major international companies attending the event as it is considered the most prominent event in the global car market.
The session was received with great interest by all participating companies. The number of exhibitors exceeded 45, of major world car manufacturing companies.
All participants were keen on providing the best technology in environment-friendly engines, which are powered by electricity. The future of smart cars was also featured, operated fully through the Internet. This session did not overlook the future of new manufacturers; it allocated a special wing for good innovative designs as well as schools to teach driving, assembly, and manufacturing for kids to become the nucleus of a new generation of geniuses of the German industry.
The exhibition is divided into a dozen lounges, providing exhibitors with the opportunity to present their cars and compete in hard challenges. Modification companies raced to offer their new sporty technologies.
Companies competed to offer free transportation for all participants on the first day, especially for journalists. Most of those cars ran on alternative energy; solar, electricity, or diesel, which is highly used in Europe.
The opening of the exhibition began with BMW screening a documentary on all the company's models. BMW's Chief Executive Officer gave a speech in which he explained the company's new models and a short explanation of each one.
Meanwhile, MINI Cooper revealed a new model of its Clubman for the first time. The new model of the car is equipped with an entirely new engine.
This was followed by Rolls Royce, which presented its new test car Magnum. Only two cars were designed for showing at the exhibition and it will be officially sold by the end of the year. The car is manufactured only upon demand, as it is almost completely handmade.
Furthermore, Porsche revealed its new car Mission E, an electric test car. This model is a true launch for the company into the future, as it is their first car running on electricity.
With this model, Porsche gives an integrated understanding of an electric sports car. Mission E shines with a new range of performance and efficiency in fuel consumption, with a futuristic screen and control system.
As for the 911 Carrera, it is the first four-seat completely electric Porsche. It is considered a classic sports car with two new turbocharged engines.
The 911 Carrera and Mission E integrate excellent sports performance and extreme efficiency.
Meanwhile, the Mission E has a four-wheel drive with total power of 600 CC, and it can cover 500km. It also has a creative charging system for the 800 volt battery, called Porsche Turbo Charging
This charging system reduces the time needed for recharging to 15 minutes, a little more than the time it takes to refill a normal gas tank.
