Published in Daily News Egypt on 25 - 09 - 2012

Egyptian artist, Kareem Al Qurity, is to have his work included in the 5th Beijing International Biennale in an exhibition titled Future and Reality, taking place in the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition will feature works from 261 international artists from 28 September to 22 October.
Al Qurity showcases his work in Egypt exclusively in Masar gallery, who said they were delighted at the news. “Al Qurity is an established Egyptian artist, not an emerging one, and the work that was showcased there was also shown at Masar exclusively," the gallery said.
The purpose of the Biennale itself is to showcase China's “opening-up," after its accession to the World Trade Organisation and its hosting of the 2008 Olympics, this time the focus is on the field of arts and culture, by promoting diversity in both fields.
