The exhibition, entitled MUSE,was inaugurated on 8 May as part of the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, andbrings together two artists, Omar Galliani from Italy and Essam Marouf from Egypt.
Essam Marouf born in 1958 has exhibited his works in many galleries in Egypt and abroad, including the Art Sawa Gallery in Dubai and the Galerie Helga Hofman in the Netherlands. In his works Marouf often focuses on female figures, trying to capture the unique character of each of them. His works have been showcased in solo, as well as the most important collective exhibitions, and the Biennale taking place in Cairo.
Omar Galliani was born in Italy in 1954, where he lives and works. Throughout his artistic career, he has won several prizes in international art competitions. His works have been presented in many galleries in Italy, as well as representing Italy in international exhibitions held in Europe and both American continents. Gilliani has participated in the prestigious Venice Biennale on several occasions.
