CAIRO: Ahly playmaker Mohamed Abou-Trika wasn t named in the Red Devils squad for Wednesday s league match at Masri. The Cairo side s official site mentioned that the coaching staff preferred to give the influential midfielder, who has recently recovered from a knee injury, a rest to avoid a possible relapse. Ahly s chief medic Ihab Ali previously announced that Abou-Trika has completely recovered from his knee problem. Algerian youngster Amir Sayoud was also not included in the squad travelling to Port Said. Nineteen-year-old Sayoud made his competitive debut with Ahly in the 4-2 win over Gaish, and put in a promising performance during the 20 minutes he played.
