Ahli playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika wasn't named in the Red Devils' squad for Wednesday's league match at Masri. The Cairo side's official site mentioned that the coaching staff preferred to give the influential midfielder, who has recently recovered from a knee injury, a rest to avoid a possible relapse. Ahli's chief medic Ihab Ali previously announced that Abou-Treika has completely recovered from his knee problem. Algerian youngster Amir Sayoud was also not included in the squad travelling to Port Said. Nineteen-year-old Sayoud made his competitive debut with Ahli in the 4-2 win over Gaish, and put in a promising performance during the 20 minutes he played.
