NAIROBI: TechnoSunday will be holding an ICT Outreach program on April 22, 2012. The subject matter will be: “Together We Can Remove the Digital Divide” This Outreach program is aimed at offering training on various ICT technologies such as Internet and mobile devices. This is essential as it will equip Tanzanians with the basic and use of ICT essential skills that have long being neglected. Some of the topics to be covered in the outreach include: basic computer hardware, software and MS Office; Internet (Internet browsing, email, social media); mobile devices and applications. Gonzaga Rugambwa, Product Manager at Push Mobile will be seeing through that topics such as Social media and mobile applications are discussed thoroughly to the attending group. Other necessary topics include: The efficient use of social media for networking – friend lists, privacy settings and Google+, finding your dream job via social media and mobile such as the use of LinkedIn, BranchOut and SMS, use of apps such as Skype, WhatsApp, Viber, BBM and many more.
