Top IT security products distributor iAxcess announced over the weekend that it was boosting its presence in the Middle East and Africa, notably North Africa, for deliviery continuity disaster recovery and data replication software from American-based Vision Solutions.
“We are very excited to partner with the iAxcess team, based on their strong position in the IT market and their experience of supporting dynamic IT vendors,” said Wouter Vancoppenolle, director of Sales, Middle East and Africa for Vision Solutions.
The new partnership agreement will expand UAE-based iAxcess' services and its entrance into the region by providing software to assist businesses in their data security efforts. The new deal also expands their chances of reaching new customers and business partners in the region.
According to the statement from Voncoppenolle, the two companies “will support partners with access to pre-sales services, training and technical expertise and marketing around business continuity topics.”
In Egypt's Smart Village Adel Danish, the head of Xceed call center, told Bikyamasr.com via telephone that “this will enable many companies to push forward on plans without fear of losing data or having to backtrack on endeavors.”
The company has shown great success in the Gulf region, with regional offices in Lebanon, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and hopes to move into the African market this year.
“This partnership will help us provide business continuity and disaster recovery solutions to customers in new markets, as well as supporting the existing business partner channel we have in place already across the Middle East and Africa. Working with iAxcess will greatly expand the service offerings to our customers through working with more business partners in the region,” continued Voncoppenolle.
