Vienna/Geneva (dpa) – An employee with the International Committee of the Red Cross has been abducted in the western Pakistani city of Quetta, the group reported Thursday. The British employee, who was working on health programs, had been returning from work in the city, along the Afghan border, in a car marked with ICRC emblems. He was reportedly abducted 200 meters from an ICRC checkpoint. The agency said it had no leads about the motives or identity of the attackers. It added that the abduction would not deter it from its mission of providing humanitarian aid in Pakistan. BM ShortURL: http://goo.gl/Vwhl5 Tags: Kidnapped, Red Cross Section: Health, Pakistan
