CAIRO: An Egyptian organization reported late afternoon Friday that the country's military was using live ammunition to put down protesters near the cabinet. According to the Association for Freedom of Thought and Expression, at least 8 demonstrators have been shot by bullets on downtown Cairo's Qasr el-Aini street, a main thoroughfare that runs next to the Magles el-Shaab street that houses the country's cabinet. At least one person has been confirmed to have been shot in the leg, but the Egyptian ministry of health has said all injuries they have thus far reported are a result of rocks being thrown. The association said that over 45 people have been seriously wounded on top of those wounded by gun shot. ** Manar Ammar contributed to this report. BM ShortURL: http://goo.gl/UGxGw No related posts.
