CAIRO: On late Friday evening and into Saturday morning Egypt time, Arab online Twitterers began tweeting using the hashtag #ma3lesh, which has many different meanings, from “sorry” to “it's okay.” Arab users went to town for hours, delivering sarcastic, serious and humorous retorts on the micro-blogging site. It was a unique online effort by Arab users to push a phrase that often gives foreigners much difficulty.
