Published in Bikya Masr on 21 - 06 - 2011

CAIRO: Egypt's two leading malls have announced their latest Summer Promotions, with this year proving to be even more jam-packed than the last. Visitors to Alexandria City Center and Maadi City Center can expect lots of fun-filled activities for the whole family to enjoy, including attractive giveaways, offers and discounts, a press release from the two said.
“For those who spend a minimum of EGP 400 in any of the mall's vast variety of stores, they will automatically be entered into an exciting weekly raffle for the chance to win an Alexandria City Center or Maadi City Center Gift Voucher worth EGP 1000. Additionally, gifts worth a grand total of EGP 300,000 across both Centres will also be up for grabs,” the twp malls announced.
Parents who are running out of ideas on how to entertain their kids throughout these hot summer months needn't look any further than Alexandria City Center and Maadi City Center. During this festive period, every weekday from 1PM to 8PM, kids are treated to an array of interactive and energizing activities including Junior Olympics, a Play Station tournament, giant Snakes and Ladders competitions, giant Monopoly, in addition to hand craft activities, face painting and circus shows.
Ramadan is a very important time of year for both malls, and from the 1st July to the 31st August children and adults alike can take part in old time favorite games, Backgammon, Chess and Dominos. Lantern making and folkloric shows will also be showcased throughout the mall and children will also have the opportunity to cook up a storm with the Junior Cooking classes that are offered every weekday from 12PM to 3PM.
As children start back to school, Alexandria City Center and Maadi City Center will collectively extend their entertainment offerings for the first two weeks in September. Meaning, every week day, those visiting the mall from September 1 through 15 “are spoilt for choice with Masquerade parties, music competitions, The Muppet Show, puzzles and painting all from 1PM to 8PM daily.”
Magid al-Futtaim Properties Egypt Board Member Hisham Jaheen added, “We have made it our priority to ensure that customers will want for nothing this summer. With special discounts on offer, spend and win promotions, in addition to the mass of entertainment offerings there really is something for the entire family.”
