CAIRO: The Cairo suburb of Zeiton witnessed a horrifying bloody crime as a 30-year-old man killed his neighbor, a 35-year-old mother of two, and then murdered her 10-year-old boy before stabbing her 12-year-old girl in the stomach, spilling her insides out, local Egyptian media reported. The girl remains in critical condition. Police arrested Tamer Ezzeldin last week and charged him with first-degree murder. The assailant had been living downstairs from the victim and her children for years, but due to water leaking from her bathroom into his, he first complained and assaulted her, according to other residents. The victim had filed a police report against him for assaulting and threatening to kill her, which according to police investigations drove him to murder her and her family. Once Ezzeldin knew about the police report, he rushed to her apartment with a knife and broke into her apartment and stabbed her in the chest, and when her 10-year-old came running from the bathroom at the sound of the screaming, the killer slit his throat and went over and stabbed the 12 year-old girl in the stomach. Local media reported that many eyewitnesses came forward to testify as the murder happened during the day and the building's guard testified that she saw the murderer rushing out of the apartment that she tried to stop him, but he pushed her aside before fleeing the scene.
