Egypt striker Mohamed "Gedo" Nagy returns to Cairo to rejoin Ahly on Monday after ending his stint with English Premier League's newly-promoted side Hull City. Gedo had suffered fatigue, underwent a successful foot operation and is expected to appear in the regular trainings within days following examinations and physical therapy, the Cairo-based club announced via their official website. Twenty-eight-year-old, Gedo, who made an instant impact after joining Hull on a six-month loan deal in January, scored five Championship (second division) goals in 12 appearances to play a key role in helping the Tigers seal Premier League promotion. Following the surgery, he will be sidelined for up to four months. Best known for scoring five goals to help Egypt win the 2010 African Cup of Nations, Gedo will miss the Pharaohs' World Cup qualifying games against Zimbabwe and Mozambique next month.
