The top 10 leasing firms in Egypt at May-end: EFSA

The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) revealed in a recent report the biggest leasing companies in the country in terms of market share at the end of May 2017.
GB Lease, part of Ghabbour Auto Company, has maintained the first position in May for the second month in a row, registering a market share of 15.86 percent, and a volume of finances amounted to 1.688 billion Egyptian pounds ($94.3 million).
Technolease for Financial Leasing has come in second position, with a 12.23 percent market share and volume of finances amounting to 1.3 billion pounds, the EFSA report showed.
Corporate Leasing Company – CORPLEASE was in the third place having a market share of 10.78 percent and a volume of leasing finances worth 1.148 billion pounds.
Al Tawfeek Leasing Co. has ranked fourth with a 9.29 percent market share and volume of leasing finances worth 990.15 million pounds at the end of May 2017.
EFG Hermes Leasing, a wholly-owned unit of EFG Hermes Holding Group, has come in the fifth position recording an 8.77 percent market share and volume of leasing finances worth 934 million pounds.
Reaching the sixth position, Al Ahly Leasing Company (ALC), the leasing arm of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), has secured an 8.08 percent market share, and volume of leasing finances worth 860.58 million pounds at the end of May 2017.
International Co. for Leasing (Incolease) has ranked seventh with a 7.75 percent market share and volume of finances worth 825.17 million pounds.
Nile Financial Leasing Company, part of Al Ahly for Development and Investment (ADI), has captured the eighth position with a market share of 7.47 percent and volume of finances worth 795.9 million pounds at May-end.
QNB AlAhli Leasing Company, part of QNB AlAhli Bank, has come in the ninth position, with a 3.20 percent and volume of finances amounted to 341.31 million pounds.
Global Leasing Company, co-founded by Wadi Degla Holding and SANAD Fund, came in the tenth position, with a 2.60 percent market share and finances worth 276.9 million pounds, according to the EFSA report.
