Instabug hunts first place in Forbes top 20 promising Egyptian start-up

The world's top business magazine, Forbes Middle East revealed its list of top 20 Egyptian Startups. It compiled the list through questionnaires shared amongst some of the ecosystem's major players, and evaluated each startup based on their potential global and regional appeal, quality of investors, and the amount of funding raised.
The list included companies like Eventtus, Edfa3ly, IFix, and others.
Instabug, founded by Moataz Soliman and Omar Gabr ranked first; a startup specialised in defining systemic malfunctions in applications. Instabug worked with clients like Yahoo, PayPal, Soundcloud, and Souq.com; it will soon have an office in San Francisco.
Yaoota, founded by Sherif El Rakabawy and Mohammed Ewis, came second in the list.
Yaoota, launched in July 2014 and headquartered in Cairo, helps Egyptian shoppers with the best deals offered by online stores in Egypt by aggregating their products and suggesting the stores to get the best deals from. It currently boasts thousands of products from over 80 stores with more products added every now and then as more merchants open online storefront for their products.
In the eighth place comes Eventtus, an online platform and mobile app for event planning, networking and ticketing. Founded by Ain Shams University graduates Mai Medhat and Nihal Fares, Eventtus provides a single app for all the events that keeps attendees informed with agenda, speakers and live announcements as well as increasing interactions and social buzz around events. Since inception, Eventtus organised more than 7500 events most of which in Egypt an UAE.
Edfa3ly, an online personal shopper offers customers to shop from any US website, ranked tenth and it was founded by Mohammed Attya, Mohammed Hisham and Ahmed Mohammed.
Zee3 Enta or ‘you air it' hunted the 11th place and it is a project launched by Sheriff Hosny that gives Egyptian citizens a chance to express and share their social and political concerns and opinions. IFIX which is founded by Mohammed Fayez and Omar Galal won the 20th place. IFix offers smartphone repairing services, delivered at home.
