Million Tourists Visited Egypt in April, $ 841 mln Revenues

Tourists arrived in Egypt amid April reached one million tourists compared to 800 thousands in 2011; increased by 30.8%.
The indicators of tourism ministry showed that the number of tourist nights in April reached 12.1 million night, as the tourist's average stay reached 12.2.
An official in tourism ministry estimated the tourism sector's revenues in April with $ 841 million.
The Russian tourism was ahead that reached almost 239,000 tourists, increased by 114% comparing to last year, which reached 111.000 tourists.
As per the German tourism, it reached 108,000 tourists, in return for 78 thousand ones, increased by 38%.
Meanwhile, the English tourism to Egypt decreased 94.8 thousand instead of 107,000 tourists.
The Italian tourism increased by 84.8% to reach 74 thousands tourists, in return for 40.3 thousand ones in April last year; while the French tourism reached 40.5 thousands, slumped by 8%.
The Arab tourism to Egypt in April reached 146 thousand tourists, compared to 120 thousand ones last year, hit by 21.9%. The Saudi tourism reached 15.7 thousand tourists, and the Libyan tourism reached 47 thousand ones.
The US tourism to Egypt reached 14.8 thousand tourists, decreased by 8.4%, compared with 16.2 thousand ones.
